    What Are You Looking For?

Whether it’s protecting your possessions while you are on vacation or your family while they sleep, we will give you the peace of mind that should the worst happen.

No. For remote access and notifications, ACT's security systems and apps are designed to work
over any standard cellular network (4G LTE/5G) or Wi-Fi. You only need a reliable internet
connection for the primary panel to communicate with our monitoring centers and for you to
manage the system via your smartphone, regardless of your cell phone provider.
ACT's monthly monitoring works by providing a 24/7 connection between your home/business
security system and our professional monitoring center. When an alarm is triggered (e.g., a door
sensor detects an opening, or a smoke detector goes off), the panel instantly sends a digital
signal to our central station. Our trained operators then verify the alarm (often by calling you
first) and, if necessary, immediately dispatch the appropriate emergency services (police,
fire, or medical) to your location. This ensures rapid response even when you're unavailable.
We are so confident that you're going to love your system, we're giving you 30 days to try it
out. If it's not working out for you for any reason, simply contact ACT within 30 days of
installation to initiate a return. We will arrange to have the equipment retrieved and provide a
full refund for the equipment and installation fees.
: ACT is responsible for the professional monitoring service and ensuring the
security system equipment is functioning correctly under the warranty/service agreement. As
the user, you are responsible for testing your system regularly (e.g., weekly or monthly) and
ensuring the batteries in wireless devices are replaced when the panel indicates a low power
    warning.
Maintenance: The system requires very little regular maintenance.
As non-essential shops reopen, their security risks change. ACT advises:
    • Upgrade Surveillance: Install high-definition cameras in key areas (registers,
entrances, high-value displays) and ensure they are connected to a cloud-backed
NVR for remote viewing and redundant storage.
    • Reinforce Access Control: Use smart locks or an access control system to
manage employee entry/exit times and restrict access to sensitive areas like
    stockrooms or offices.
    • Optimize Alarm Schedules: Review and update the arming schedule to reflect
new opening and closing times, ensuring the system is armed promptly when staff
    leave.
    • Deter Loitering: Install improved exterior lighting and visible signage indicating a
    professionally monitored system.
Yes, ACT offers 24/7 professional monitoring services. Our UL-certified monitoring centers
are staffed by trained operators who are ready around the clock to respond immediately to
alarms, dispatching emergency services like police and fire departments to your location,
ensuring the fastest possible response time.
Yes, ACT seamlessly integrates smart home automation features into your security system. We
work with popular Z-Wave-enabled smart home brands to connect devices like smart lights,
smart thermostats, and other smart home security equipment. This allows you to manage
your security and environment from a single app, enabling features like lights turning on when
the system is disarmed or the heat automatically adjusting when you leave.
Yes, we frequently offer discounts and promotions on our home security systems. This includes
special offers for new customers, discounts for military personnel and first responders, and
bundled savings when combining professional monitoring with smart home equipment.
Please check the "Special Offers" section of our website or contact a sales representative for the
    current promotions.
No, ACT systems are 100% cellular and/or internet-based. We use secure, redundant
    connections—primarily 4G LTE/5G cellular radio—to communicate with our monitoring
center. This is more reliable than a traditional landline, which can be easily cut or disabled,
ensuring your system remains connected even during a power outage or if your internet goes
    down.
A Smart Fire Alarm System is an interconnected network of smoke and heat detectors that are
integrated into your security panel and professional monitoring service.
    How They Work:
    1. A connected smoke or heat detector senses danger.
    2. The detector wirelessly communicates the alarm to the ACT control panel.
    3. The panel immediately notifies the professional monitoring center via the cellular
    connection.
    4. Operators contact the local fire department instantly, even if you are not home or
    are unable to call 911.
    5. The system can also automatically shut down HVAC systems to slow the spread
of smoke/fire and unlock smart door locks to facilitate escape for occupants and
    entry for first responders.
